I received a message last week from someone in the UK who wanted to purchase my old JFK piece from 2012. I had to go through my backup drives to see if I still even had that file. I found it...and so much more.

I found all of my old art pieces, dating back to 2007. It was so nostalgic. And bittersweet. I missed staying up all night creating for fun, for the love; not wanting to sleep because inspiration wouldn't let me. Finding all of those files sparked that same inspiration. I felt more alive. I felt more like...me.

Anyways, instead of creating something entirely new, I decided to recreate that old JFK piece with a minimal style so that the art and the words are more prominent. Baby steps. ❤

This piece features the famous words, "Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men.", quoted by President John F. Kennedy from Rev. Phillips Brooks, during the Presidential Prayer Breakfast on February 7, 1963.
